Not at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market during Winter

I will not be at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market during the Winter months.  I plan to return to the market in April.

Ann Arbor Farmers Market, Saturday, November 19, 2011

I will be at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market this Saturday, November 19.  This week, I’ve had some requests to make some treats that I’ve made recently.  Therefore, this week I plan to bring:

  • Macarons – Pistachio, Pumpkin pie, and Black Currant
  • Almond cream tarts – Apple, Berry, and Apricot
  • St. Aude – Individual macaron cakes filled with vanilla cream and raspberries
  • Paris-Brest
  • Vanilla eclairs

Ann Arbor Farmers Market, Saturday November 12, 2011

I will be at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market this week. I plan to bring:

  • Macarons – Caramel, Amarena cherries with vanilla, and Mango
  • Caramel eclairs
  • Almond cream tarts – Apricot, apple, and pear (no caramel :) )
  • St. Aude – This is an individual sized cake with a macaron crust filled with cream and raspberries

I’ll be at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market this weekend.  This week, I’m planning to make a couple of items that I haven’t made in a while.   I plan to have:

  • Macarons – Pistachio, vanilla, and Absinthe
  • Almond cream tarts – Apple, Pear, and apricot
  • Cornet a la creme – Flaky puff pastry cones filled with cream
  • Perhaps other items as I’m inspired

I will be at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market this Saturday.   This week, I plan to bring:

  • Macarons – Pumpkin, Nutella, vanilla, and raspberry
  • Almond Cream Tarts – Pear, apple, and apricot
  • Eclairs – Chocolate and Vanilla
  • Chocolate Mousse

Ann Arbor Farmers Market, Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011

This week, I plan to have:

  • Macarons – raspberry, macha tea, nutella, mango, and almond
  • Tigre – A individual soft  honey cake with a center filled with orange/chocolate ganache.  I’ll probably have these in packs of two.
  • Almond cream tarts – pistachio with apricot, apple, and mixed berry
  • Paris-Brest
  • Boxes with a variety of three gourmet French cookies
  • Stacks of 4 organic crepes  that you can fill to make a savory meal or sweet treat
  • Chocolate mousse (perhaps!)

Ann Arbor Farmers Market, Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011

This week, I’ve decide to bring you a variety of flavors to choose from.  I plan to have:

  • Macarons – pumpkin pie, violet, and vanilla
  • Almond cream tarts – pistachio and other fruits and berries
  • French pound cake flavored with orange and vanilla and served with raspberry sauce and chantilly
  • St. Aude – a large cake with a macaron crust filled with mousseline cream and raspberries (I’ll post a picture of a previous one I did on my Facebook page)
  • IF I have time..  an orange blossom cream puff wrapped in almond paste.  We call this a “fig” in France, because of the shape

Remember, the market opens at 7am.  I never know what spot they’ll give me.  Last week I was over near Detroit Street on the sidewalk behind the regular stalls.  So please be patient and look for me.  Also, I generally sell out by 10:30am.  So please come early for best selection.

Ann Arbor Farmers Market – Saturday, September 24, 2011

This week, I found some very nice organic peaches and pears.  So I’m going to make some special treats.  I plan to bring:

  • Bourdon – A pear stuffed with walnuts and brown sugar, wrapped in puff pastry and baked
  • Almond Cream Tarts – peach and other fruits
  • Macaron – sunflower seed, basil/strawberry, and raspberry
  • Lemon Meringue Tarts
  • I will also probably have some large almond cream tarts and a large lemon meringue tart

Ann Arbor Farmers Market – Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011

It looks like Summer is starting to turn into Fall.  My vacation time is over, and I’ll be returning to the Ann Arbor Farmers Market this Saturday.

This week, I plan to bring:

  • Macarons – Speculoos, lime, and orange blossom
  • Almond cream tarts – Peach/blueberry, pear, and apple
  • Eclairs – vanilla and chocolate
  • Creme brulee – if it’s not too humid
  • Madeleines
  • Jam – White chocolate with raspberry and Apricot with lavender

The market opens at 7am.  Please plan to get there early for best selection.
